Collection Description:
My collection is mostly a gamers collection. Many of my games, especially the cart based ones, are loose and no, I don't mind one bit. :) I have no desire to complete any collection to the degree most would consider complete. I consider a collection complete if I have every game that I want to play on the system. Allows me to focus on what is important, to me, and bypass the garbage that I'll never play and will just take up space. Considering all that I think I've amassed a fair sized collection of Icarus-flavored concentrated nerdness! lol

My mini-collections include; Castlevania (only need Revenge and Legends for GameBoy and I'll have a complete US-release collection), shmups, run 'n guns, arcade sticks, lightguns and lightgun games.

I hope to be able to post some pictures of my gameroom here soon, once it has been cleared out, re-organized and finished. I run my games on VGA monitors with a converter box. One monitor is a 21" CRT and the other is a 19" CRT set on it's side for vertical (tate mode) shmups and other arcade games through MAME. For sound I am currently using a JVC Kaboom-box that I've had for almost ten years now. Puts out decent sound but, I want to upgrade to a 5.1 surround system in the future.
